Mobile Robotics
Automated Guided Vehicles, also known as AGVs, self-guided or autonomous guided vehicles, are material handling systems designed to transport goods throughout a facility without the need for an onboard operator. Using predefined pathways and guided by technologies such as sensors, magnetic strips, lasers, or cameras, AGVs navigate warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing environments with precision. They are programmed to follow specific routes, avoid obstacles, and coordinate with other systems for efficient workflow. AGVs help streamline operations by reducing manual labor, minimizing errors, and increasing overall productivity.
